Who we are

Nolan Media is a small media and technology company based at 6240 Main Street, Suite 3, Cass City, Michigan 48726, United States. It is the party responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions can be sent to support@nolanmedia.cc.

What this policy covers

This policy covers:

• This website, nolanmedia.cc
• The Nolan Media account — a single sign-in shared across Nolan Media applications, operated at auth.nolanmedia.cc
• Nolan Media applications that use that sign-in, including Voidmail Pro, Divinio, MorphManager, and Little Roadside Stand

An individual application may add its own notice describing anything specific to it. Where it does, that notice sits alongside this one rather than replacing it.

Information collected

When you contact us

The contact form asks for your name, and optionally your business name, email address, phone number, website URL, the subject of your inquiry, and a message. Only the name, email address, and subject are required. This is used to reply to you and to discuss the work you are asking about.

When you create a Nolan Media account

A Nolan Media account exists so you can use one sign-in across the applications listed above rather than a separate password for each. When you create one we hold:

• A permanent internal account identifier
• Your email address
• Your name, or the display name you choose
• If you set a password, a one-way cryptographic hash of it — never the password itself
• Basic sign-in records: the times you signed in, and the application you signed in to

When you sign in with Google or Facebook

You may sign in using an existing Google or Facebook account instead of creating a password. If you do, we ask that provider for the minimum needed to identify you and set up your account:

• Your name and basic public profile
• Your email address
• Your profile picture, where the provider supplies one

We do not receive, request, or store your password for those services. We do not request access to your contacts, friends list, posts, photos, messages, calendar, files, or advertising data, and we cannot post anything on your behalf.

Signing in this way tells Google or Facebook that you have used their sign-in with Nolan Media. Their own privacy policies govern what they do with that fact.

When you use the website

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived. IP addresses are handled by Google Analytics in truncated form.

The site is served by Cloudflare, which records standard server log information such as IP address, timestamp, and requested URL in the ordinary course of delivering and protecting the site.

How information is used

• To reply to your inquiry and provide the services you ask for
• To create your account, sign you in, and keep you signed in
• To keep your account working across applications, and to restore access if you are locked out
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the site and applications
• To send you messages about the service itself — a security notice, a change of terms, or an answer to something you asked
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising
• We do not run advertising on this site or in Nolan Media applications
• We do not use your information to build advertising profiles or sell it to data brokers
• We do not send marketing email to people who only used the contact form

Who information is shared with

Personal information is shared only with the service providers needed to run the business, and only for that purpose:

• Cloudflare — website and application hosting, network security
• Web3Forms — delivers contact form submissions to our email inbox
• Google Analytics — website usage statistics
• Google and Meta (Facebook) — where you choose to sign in with them, acting as identity providers
• Amazon Simple Email Service — delivers account email, such as address verification and password reset messages
• Resend — a secondary email delivery provider, used only if the primary service is unavailable
• Email and business software providers — to correspond with you and keep ordinary business records

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Nolan Media, our clients, or the public. If the business is ever sold or merged, account information may transfer with it; you would be told before that changed anything material in this policy.

Cookies

• Sign-in cookies — set when you sign in, to keep you signed in and to protect the sign-in process against tampering. These are necessary; the sign-in cannot work without them.
• Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics, as described above.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect the site. Blocking sign-in cookies will prevent you from signing in. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's browser opt-out add-on.

How long information is kept

• Account information — for as long as your account exists, and then deleted as described below
• Contact form messages — up to three years, so we can find earlier correspondence, then deleted
• Sign-in and server logs — a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then discarded
• Business and tax records — for as long as the law requires

Your choices and your rights

Whatever your location, you can:

• Ask what is held about you and get a copy
• Correct anything inaccurate
• Delete your account and your personal information — see the Data Deletion page for how
• Disconnect Google or Facebook sign-in at any time, in that provider's settings
• Object to or restrict particular uses of your information

To make any of these requests, email support@nolanmedia.cc. Requests are acknowledged within 7 days and acted on within 30 days. There is no charge, and exercising these rights will never result in worse service.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these same rights under those laws, including the right not to have personal information sold — which, as stated above, Nolan Media does not do. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have equivalent rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Security

Sign-in is handled by a dedicated identity server using standard OpenID Connect. All traffic to this site and to Nolan Media applications is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. Access to production systems and to personal information is limited to those who need it to do the work.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your personal information, you will be notified promptly and told what happened and what to do.

Children

Nolan Media services are not directed to children under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, write to support@nolanmedia.cc and it will be deleted.

Where information is held

Nolan Media operates in the United States, and information is stored and processed there. If you use our services from outside the United States, you are sending your information to the United States, where privacy law differs from your own.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how your personal information is used, you will be notified by email or by a notice in the application before it takes effect.
